Exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Trainer to work for an established charity in the care sector, based in Pickering with other locations across Yorkshire and the North East.


This is an exciting chance to join a growing team and be at the heart of the changes within the organisation to standardise all learning and development for all team members.


You will offer advice and support to managers, design and deliver effective training programmes, ensuring that all courses meet national standards.


You should ideally have a Level 5 qualification in L&D, be working towards this or have equivalent working experience, with knowledge of LMS systems with strong delivery and facilitation skills.


As a Learning & Development Trainer you will:

  • Design and deliver a learning and development portfolio to meet regulatory requirements
  • Introduce a blended learning approach, that embeds a learning and coaching culture
  • Design a learning and development needs assessment and evaluation framework to inform the design of future L&D programmes
  • Provide advice and support to managers and colleagues
  • Provide learning and development plans and career progression pathways
  • Source and scope bespoke learning and development for professional qualifications and apprenticeships
  • Manage training records in the HRIS/LMS system
  • Engage with stakeholders to undertake development needs analysis
  • Deliver effective and engaging face to face or virtual learning and development sessions, facilitate group and action learning
  • Provide career development advice on appropriate learning programmes and career pathways
