We are hiring a Trainee Estimator to join our team at Vanguard Healthcare Solutions

Vanguard Healthcare Solutions is a rapidly growing company based in the UK, providing infrastructure and clinical services for healthcare clients globally. Established in 1999, we offer purpose-built mobile and modular facilities for various healthcare needs, such as operating theatres, endoscopy suites, and diagnostic departments.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Estimating Manager in preparing quotations for Vanguard Healthcare products and services
  • Build and deliver cost quotations for different business aspects in the UK, Europe & Australia
  • Review tender documentation and client requirements
  • Obtain subcontract quotations and review for accuracy and value
  • Establish initial contract price breakdown for valuations
  • Support price variation quotations pre & post contract
  • Assist with contract/budget issues

Requirements:
  • Educated to Degree level in business, construction management or Quantity Surveying
  • A problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Experience in MS Excel and Word
  • Understanding of construction materials
  • Ability to use critical thinking for daily tasks
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
