Trainee Production Controller

Job Summary:
Raise production cards on all orders as requested by the Sales Department. Revise when required. Compile information to calculate and produce a weekly/monthly machinery report.
**Duties**:
- Compile information to calculate and produce weekly/monthly machining report
- Buying of all consumable items needed for production.
- Estimate jobs by studying drawings and analysing labour, material and time required.
- Raise production cards on all orders as requested by the sales department.
- Revise production cards when required due to design changes, date, or material.
- Set up routings on new items and calculate required amount of labour.
- Raise purchase orders for subcontract items and sort material.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as request by your line manage
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communications skills must be able to communicate at all levels.
- Calm professional manner but must have a good sense of humour.
- Positive "can do" attitude. With good attention to detail.
- Able to work extended and/or unsocial hours to the full requirements of the role.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Experience of Microsoft products (i.e. Word, Excel)
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday - 08:00 -16:45
**Salary**: £24,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
