A prestigious US law firm is currently looking for a Corporate Insurance Lawyer to join their top-notch transactions group based in London.

This role involves providing counsel to major corporations and private equity sponsors on a wide array of insurance coverage and risk management matters, playing a crucial part in intricate transactions. Role Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients (insurance and reinsurance companies, Financial Advisors, and Underwriters) on various transactions like mergers and acquisitions, reinsurances, public and private financings, regulatory advisory work, restructurings, and reorganizations.
  • Deliver comprehensive regulatory guidance to insurance and reinsurance companies, sponsors, investment banks, and other non-insurance entities.
  • Draft and negotiate intricate insurance clauses in transaction agreements, including representations and warranties carve-outs and liability limitations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a prominent corporate insurance practice or a relevant in-house legal department.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate insurance policies, coverage issues, and claims handling procedures.
  • Solid grasp of mergers and acquisitions transactions and the insurance role within such deals.
