Machine Operator Position at Leading Food Manufacturer in Gloucester
A well-established food manufacturer is seeking Machine Operators to join their team at a modern and fully automated facility located in the heart of Gloucester.
Starting pay is £13.66 per hour, with opportunities for increased pay based on skills and experience. Overtime rates are also applicable.
The ideal candidate should have some background in Manufacturing/Production, preferably in the food industry. However, training will be provided for the right individual.
- Applicants must be dedicated team players with strong accountability and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic IT software is required.
PREFERRED/DESIRABLE:
- Prior experience in manufacturing within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company is desirable but not mandatory.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be adaptable to work across various units and perform different tasks as trained.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery/equipment to meet production targets.
- Conducting quality checks on products.
- Collecting and accurately recording data from the production line.
- Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene standards in the production area.
- Assisting in packaging the final product.
It is crucial to maintain a safe work environment and follow all site regulations. The company offers 28 days of annual leave, pro-rated for the first 12 weeks, increasing to 33 days per year thereafter, which includes bank holidays. Additionally, employees benefit from free parking and discounts at the staff shop and canteen.
