Machine Operator

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Machine Operatives to join our team at RE People in Gloucester. As a Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery, meeting quality targets, and contributing to the success of our industry-leading client.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain production machinery to meet quality targets
- Record operating conditions in line with production plans accurately and in a timely fashion
- Complete and maintain cleaning and checking procedures
- Strive for continuous improvement within yourself and across the wider team, identifying areas of improvement opportunity
- Work on a 4 day rota of 2 day and 2 night shifts
- Basic understanding and confident use of IT, including MS Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
- Comfortable with routine drug screening as part of operational due diligence
- Comfortable working on their own initiative, managing their own workload effectively
- Drive to earn and progress a career – there are opportunities for development for those who want it, and can demonstrate this
- Starting salary of £32,325pa, plus benefits and overtime opportunities
- 25 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays, pension, life assurance and Bupa medical scheme
