STOIX has been retained to confidentially identify a new Director (VP) of Group Tax for a large, ambitious multinational.
An exciting opportunity to build out the group tax function in alignment with the company growth trajectory and drive the global group tax strategy.
Please note we are working under an NDA for this mandate.The Role:
Strategic Tax Planning &
Risk Management:
Lead the development and implementation of the company's global tax strategy, including risk management and dispute resolution.
M&A Expertise:
Provide structuring advice, transaction support, and due diligence for M&A activity.
Global Tax Leadership:
Build out a team and influence senior management on tax decisions in a multinational setting.
External Representation:
Liaise with tax authorities, manage relationships with external advisors, and participate in tax lobbying efforts.
The Candidate:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Significant international tax experience
Strong technical skills.
Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation abilities.
Problem-solving, self-motivated with high attention to detail.
Strong negotiation and people management skills.
Ability to influence senior management.
