Junior Field Service Engineer

Job Description:
As a Junior Field Service Engineer, your role is vital in providing top-tier technical support to our clients. You'll handle hardware issue resolutions according to service agreements, mainly on various End User technologies. Managing the ticket queue, meeting SLAs, and surpassing customer expectations are key.

Although this role is home-based, you'll travel to client locations across a large area that includes Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, and Buckinghamshire. We offer a company car and fuel card to facilitate your travel.

To excel in this role, experience with any of the following 4 supporting technologies is required:
  • Printer - hands-on experience with hardware module replacements
  • Desktop - hands-on experience with hardware module troubleshooting
  • Laptop - hands-on experience with hardware module troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of Image deployment and configuration
Essential Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of MS Windows
  • Minimum 1-year experience in end user device hardware support
  • Strong customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Capability to follow advanced technical instructions remotely
  • Willingness to undergo BPSS vetting
Desired Skills:
  • Accreditation in Laptop and/or Desktop manufacturing (Dell, HP, Lenovo)
  • SC Clearance
