Description

As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will have a key role in providing top-notch technical support to our clients. Your main tasks will involve fixing hardware issues according to contracted services, especially focusing on various End User technologies. It is crucial for you to handle the ticket queue efficiently, meet SLAs, and go above and beyond to meet customer needs.

Although this role is home-based, you will be required to travel to client locations across a wide area, including Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, and Buckinghamshire. You will be provided with a company car and fuel card for your travel needs.

To succeed, you should have experience with at least one of the 4 supporting technologies mentioned below:

  • Printer – experience in hardware module replacement breakfix
  • Desktop - experience in hardware module breakfix
  • Laptop - experience in hardware module breakfix
  • Basic knowledge of Image deployment & configuration

Essential Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of MS Windows
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware support for end user devices
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Capability to follow advanced technical instructions remotely
  • Willingness to undergo BPSS vetting

Desirable Skills:

  • Laptop and/or Desktop manufacturer accreditation (Dell, HP, Lenovo)
  • SC Clearance
