A renowned food manufacturing company in County Durham is looking for a meticulous Forecast Analyst to join their team. As a Demand Analyst, you will play a vital role in developing, overseeing, and providing precise forecasts to bolster demand planning and inventory control.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and various other departments to guarantee the accuracy of forecasts and strive for continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
• Collaborate and question 12-month forecasts with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Regularly update forecasts, ensuring prompt communication of any changes.
• Enhance monthly forecast accuracy and address queries from Inventory Planning and Customer Services.
• Coordinate with customers' supply chain to optimize demand levels during promotional events.
• Generate dependable forecasts of customer order needs.
Requirements:
• Background in forecasting or demand planning.
• Proficient in analytical tools and data analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a strong focus on precision.
