We are hiring a Shift Engineer/Technician Join our stable and fast-paced technology company to be a key player in achieving top-notch production output.

Working alongside our skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for creating maintenance plans aligned with production needs, responding to machine breakdowns, and supporting the implementation of new equipment, processes, and products.


Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate engineering resources for optimal machinery availability
  • Manage and implement machinery maintenance plans
  • Address machine breakdowns and oversee repairs
  • Contribute to machinery requirements for new products and assist with new machinery introduction
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure safety compliance of all machinery, equipment, and procedures

Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, HNC)
  • Experience in maintaining and enhancing automated production machinery
  • Proficient in electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability in managing maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Strong documentation and reporting abilities

Salary:
£47K (including S/A) + Pension + Private Medical

Shifts:
Early and Late 8-hour shifts, with early Friday finish and NO NIGHTS
