The essential purpose of this job

You will manage a caseload of clients who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. This will be done following the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model (training will be given) This supports people with Secondary Mental Health needs into employment. You will work in collaboration and foster a close working relationship with the staff within the NHS Mental Health Teams.

It involves intensive individual support, rapid job search followed by placement in paid employment, and in-work support for both the employee and the employer. This role is part based between our Rochdale office and the NHS Mental Health Teams.

Requirements:
  • The post holder must hold a current driver licence and have use of a car.
  • Must be selfmotivating and able to plan and prioritise their workload.
  • Must be passionate about creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • Flexibility is essential, some evening and weekend work will be required.

Qualified to NVQ 3 level or equivalent
