Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering magic guest service? We now have an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of magic service, within the role of Maintneance Assistant


As a Maintenance Assistant you will be required to
master the art of versatility and
inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties.


The main duties expected within the role are:

  • Carry out checks of maintenance materials at least weekly, keeping stock levels to the minimum necessary to maintain continuity of service.
  • Be proactive in ensuring that the Hotel's external surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Ensure that the workshop, plant rooms and all other engineering areas are clean and in safe condition. This includes removal from areas all items of debris or litter.
  • Enter defects and breakdowns in log books.
  • Create and maintain a pleasant and professional relationship with all members of Hotel staff.
  • To carry out timely repairs to all parts of the hotel/coordinate the repairs through a third party if deemed required.
  • Respond to Housekeeping maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure reports, returns and any other documentation required is completed accurately and timeously.
  • Be on call as and when required, and within scope of best practice to ensure the hotel maintains the services that guests and the business require.
  • Carry out timely repairs as logged in the daily maintenance book
  • To take ownership for the Brand standards and excellent operation standards as well as the Mystery audit standards and to ensure they are being adhered to
  • To carry out proactive approach to maintaining the fabric of property, i.e painting and decorating schedule and maintenance contracts.
