***This is an opportunity to join our Passive works team.

A new team has been created to inspected Front Entry doors on Annual basis. This team will work to ensure we meet the current requirements and have clear processes in place.


The Supervisor will be responsible for allocating work to the team and booking works in with residents from site, while working closely with the planner.


They will be involved in training the team and ensuring work carried out is in line with our Passive team and our 3rd Party accreditation.

You will be involved on the daily supervising of the team, including both operatives and planner.

The role will ensure operatives are performing to the required standard, it will also involve material and H&S checks.


The successful applicant will have an opportunity to play a part in delivering a high impact service to our residents and working on reducing our overdue actions.


You will be responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling of the Passive Technicians across the L&Q estate, specifically relating to Fire Safety works.

Managing their diaries and timetables to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner. Residents receive a satisfactory service and that maintenance issues are resolved in line with service level agreements.

Other duties include;

  • Liaising with Fire safety officers, Supervisors, Surveyors, Technicians and Residents
  • Arranging follow on works.
  • Logging of data and notes on the computer system
  • Linking into action raised from the FRA team and working alongside the team to close of the actions
  • Escalation of issues to the Passive works manager
  • Accurate data entry skills, effective decision making and an ability to prioritise the workload are essential.
  • Carrying out regular audits on operatives


To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to work in a busy fast paced environment, possess excellent administration skills and be computer literate.


  • It is also essential to have excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills. DRS/Optitime experience is essential.
  • It is essential you have a background in Fire and have experience in BM TRADA
  • Experience in using Zetasafe is highly recommend
  • Repairs and Maintenance knowledge is essential as well as front line Customer Service experience.
We are a multi-site organisation, so some roles may require occasional travel between offices, but expenses will be covered.
