Permanent residential child care worker required in Penrith.

Your new role

Your new role will be a full time residential child care worker who will work across a small number of homes within the same geographical area, travelling and providing cover where required.

You will work as a team, building long lasting relationships withthe children and young people.

You will accompany young people to and from school or college, facilitate family contact, create a warm and comforting environment, have fun and go on days out as well as shopping, cooking, cleaning and encouraging participationin local activities and hobbies.


What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in Residential Child Care is extremely beneficial, however there are many transferable skills for this role. You need to have a dedicated and resilient approach as well as an extremely caring and nurturing nature. You will also need a fullUK driving licence.
