What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Responsible for defining and building the future state Inbound planning capability while running the processes we have in place today to improve performance tactically and deliver strategic change
  • Accountable for improving visibility of stock flow and the flow of stock into the network
  • Supporting the Commercial teams, Sourcing, Network Development and Logistics Operations in delivery flow of product from FOB to UK network. Ensuring these are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective way so that availability of product in the correct quantities is available as required and deliveries are on time
  • The role will work across a range of business partners including Blue Yonder Development, Supply Chain & Logistics, sourcing, commercial operations, and merchandising
  • Work closely with Data & Analytics team to continue developing and improving an efficient reporting solution across Inbound and Supply Planning

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Knowledge and experience of a wide range of processes/functions. An understanding of the Clothing & Home critical path for new product launches, Buying and Merchandising processes, Freight and Logistics Operations, fundamentals of Supply Chain Planning (forecasting, planning, logistics operations, sourcing) is needed for this role
  • Ability to develop people and coach them, so they are highly motivated, to ensure we are growing talent for the future of our supply chain Planning function
  • Collaboration is key a key element of this role working with Supply Chain & Logistics, Planning Managers and Commercial teams
  • Strong Analytical skills and able to utilise data to drive commercial decisions along side structured problem solving skills
  • Commercial awareness of both M&S and our external competition
