We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and pro-active Medical Administrator to join our fantastic team on a fixed term 6 month contract.

This is an idea role for a someone that is ready to work in a fast paced and stimulating environment.

This would be a perfect position for someone coming into the field or building on previous healthcare experience and skills.

Job Summary:


The post holder will ensure administrative duties within the Primary Care Services division are carried out within FedBucks guidelines and policies.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry on clinical systems and Microsoft excel
  • Typing of clinical patient letters
  • Using the NHS ICE system (Training Provided) to chase and process results.
  • Conversing with a range of healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for every patient throughout the services
  • Answering and assisting with patient queries
  • Creating hospital referrals using the NHS electronic referral service eRS (Training Provided)

Desirable qualities and skills:

  • An understanding of GDPR and adherence to this always
  • Willing to be adaptable to change
  • Prior experience of working in healthcare is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate and previous use of Microsoft systems is preferable
FedBucks is a federation of 45 GP practices covering a population of over 485,000 patients across Buckinghamshire.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months

Part-time hours: 29 per week

Salary:
£10.50 per hour
