We are hiring an Apprentice to join the Resourcing Centre of Excellence as a Systems Administrator, supporting the Resourcing Operations Manager in the ongoing maintenance and configuration of the Applicant Tracking and Onboarding system.

For this vacancy you will have the opportunity to gain a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

You will focus on adding value, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to the wider Resourcing and People teams, resolving issues, ensuring data integrity, and keeping an accurate, well maintained and up to date platform, used by over 5,000 people every day to hire 20,000 people per year.

As a Systems Administration Apprentice at Mitie, you will dive deep into the world of applicant tracking and onboarding systems administration, working alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic, supportive environment.

This entry-level position is designed to kick-start your career in system administration, offering hands-on experience with real-world projects.

Primary ownership of the ATS Support Inbox for all standard system requests, such as account set up and maintenance, adding locations, and logging queries with the external helpdesk.

Daily monitoring and actions for system technical support queries and requests.

Engage in comprehensive training programs, including workshops and mentorship opportunities, to develop your technical skills and understanding of data analytics practices.

Extracting data from the ATS, building, and producing reports and preparing presentations.

Supporting the Resourcing Leadership Team on projects and miscellaneous assignments.

You are a digital native, with strong technical skills and MS Office experience / skills.

You work to a high level of data accuracy and have a high attention to detail.

You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and you can succinctly assimilate and summarise data.

You have a flexible attitude and are discrete, comfortable working with sensitive personal data.

As you will be working with and have access to data privacy information, you must have a strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.

What do we look for in our apprentices?

You should have an interest and passion for your chosen apprenticeship pathway.

You should enjoy creative problem solving, thinking critically and getting practical, hands-on experience.

You will have Maths and English Level 4-9 or equivalent/ Scottish National 5 certificates grade A to C and you should be able to provide these certificates upon request.

You will be hired on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 18 Months.

You will be working 40 hours per week and complete your online studies alongside your duties.
