Taking initial enquiries through to delivery, you will be responsible for coordinating a wide variety of events from intimate canapé receptions to large-scale public events, and conferences, through to weddings and private parties; We can count royalty, major corporates, and celebrities amongst our clients.

The successful event coordinator will be responsible for**:

  • Wowing clients during site tours, upselling and maximising sales opportunities.
  • Working to targets, you are to be a part of a sales culture environment which identifies opportunities to maximize sales revenue and profit.
  • Building rapport with clients, exceeding their expectations in terms of service delivery.
  • Ensuring you are visible and available to the client throughout the process including the day of the event.
  • Liaising with management and across departments, ensuring all event details are outlined and confirmed to relevant parties.
  • Liaising with external service providers where required.
  • Taking ownership of the smooth running of the event, from initial conception through to delivery taking a proactive approach to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Dealing with client enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and efficient manner
  • To ensure correct prices are in place on all booking agreements and function sheets in line with the selling strategy.
  • Accurate and timely use of the booking system in line with departmental processes.

The successful Events Coordinator will have the following skills / experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales focused role
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience within a client facing role, with a passion for delivering a high level of service.
  • Qualification/s within Event Management, Business, or Marketing is preferred however not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Previous experience in leading and coordinating teams in event delivery is preferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with a solutionbased approach.

Hours of work:
Working 5 days out of 7 around the event calendar (40 hours per week).

Salary:
£27,000 + £2k target-based commission (50% paid quarterly, 50% paid annually)
