The Role

Pip & Nut is looking to start a London Brand Ambassador Programme to help engage with our community of nut butter lovers here in the capital. We have a lot of exciting sampling opportunities coming up as well as some brand-new products launching this summer, which means we'll be needing some extra squirrels on the ground to help us carry these out. This will include frequent in-store samplings, as well as getting involved with some exciting events such as the Royal Parks Half Marathon – we're the key sponsor this year

In a nutshell, you are responsible for:

  • Representing the Pip & Nut brand out and about in London, at various events and in store.
  • Getting our products in the hands of London consumers, helping to recruit new fans.
  • Independent management of sampling kit and stock, coordinating with the marketing team as well as individual Whole Foods Market stores to sample.

In more detail, this means:

  • Representing Pip & Nut at London events such as the Royal Parks Half as well as smaller pop-up activations at run clubs and other sporting events. You'll work closely with the Pip & Nut marketing team and other brand ambassadors. This could be a full day event, or just a couple of hours.
  • In-store samplings at all Whole Foods Markets across London as well as other key stockists. These sampling sessions are usually three hours (both weekdays and weekends) and you'll run this independently, with full training from the Pip & Nut marketing team.
  • Supporting the Pip & Nut team at Trade Events, such as Lunch 2024, working closely alongside the marketing and sales teams to introduce Pip & Nut to industry contacts.
  • Actively contribute to making our wider Pip & Nut culture and place of work best in class

Specific knowledge, qualifications, skills & experience required:

  • A motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual. Enthusiasm for the food industry as a whole, and Pip & Nut in particular – make sure you've researched us and have a good idea of what we're all about
  • Confident representing Pip & Nut, talking about the brand and sampling our delicious products. We're looking for someone with positive energy and a natural ability to engage anyone they meet.
  • Available to work flexible in-person sampling shifts, from approximately 9 to 30 hours a month.
  • Organised and a communicator; you'll need to regularly report back to the Pip & Nut marketing team.
  • Happy working independently, taking ownership of your own stock and equipment for these sessions.

Recruitment Timeline

We are happy to reimburse travel expenses to and from the interviews where necessary.

Remuneration

1. The job offer is based on your engagement from time to time by Pip & Nut, as a casual worker.

2. You will be paid the London Living Wage: an hourly rate of £13.15/hour + travel expenses in and around London, on a monthly basis

3. More nut butter and nut butter cups than you can shake your tail at
