As our Security Officer, you will be joining our already established, high-profile team who are experts within the industry and have a wealth of knowledge and understanding between them.
With a keen eye for detail, you'll be helping them play a big part in keeping our site safe and secure.
You'll be a friendly face to many as you'll be the first point of contact for all employees and visitors on site as well co-ordinating the flow of vehicles in and out of the site.
Responsibilities of our Security Officer will include:
Carrying out gatehouse administration duties
Coordinating access & egress on site
Monitoring site CCTV
Observing and recording day-to-day activities
Booking and checking vehicles in and out of the site
Greeting and directing visitors and contractors
Performing search procedures of the warehouse employees
Performing drug & alcohol testing
What we're looking for in our Security Officer:
Enthusiastic and self-driven
SIA badge would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
The ability to work as a team member with minimum supervision
Good IT skills including a good understanding o MS Excel, Word & Outlook
Strong numeracy & literacy skills
Determination and the desire to make a difference
