Protocol is collaborating with a Further Education College located in Preston to find an experienced Agricultural Engineering Lecturer.

In this position, you will teach Agricultural Engineering-related subjects to students in Further Education programs and, if needed, external clients, aiming to inspire excellence and success. The focus will mainly be on practical teaching, complemented by the application of theoretical knowledge.

Job Description:

This full-time role is permanent, and you will be part of the college's Agricultural department. Your responsibilities will include supporting, teaching, training, and assessing students. Additionally, you'll deliver education and training to high standards, prepare student materials, assess and mark student work, and conduct student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student achieves their best.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals passionate about Agricultural Engineering with relevant experience in education and industry. Ideally, you have worked with students or apprentices in a college or educational setting. You should be positive, motivational, and knowledgeable in the subject area to effectively educate and inspire learners.

Qualifications:

• A level 3 qualification in Agricultural Engineering or similar
• A teaching qualification
• An Assessors Award (Desirable)
