About Us


We are looking for staff to join us at a new charity, which will offer residential places to support individuals through the challenges of becoming drug and alcohol free and into recovery.

You will be passionate about the program we offer and the positive impact this will bring to individuals and the wider community.

You will be helping vulnerable adults on their journey towards transforming their lives.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults including those who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • A recognised care qualification or a willingness to work towards one
  • A good understanding of addiction and homelessness issues, as well as the challenges of recovery. If you have experience of a recovery pathway all the better
  • A lived experience of being in recovery or supporting someone in addiction is desirable but not essential. If you have personal experience with substance dependency you must have at least 18 months clean and in recovery.
  • An ability to be selfmotivated and an ability to motivate others. You will also be a great team player
  • Good IT and administrative skills. A driving licence will be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Your responsibilities will be varied and will include providing emotional support to residents, facilitating group and individual recovery sessions alongside senior colleagues, engaging residents in productive and rewarding activities, helping residents to improve their life and social skills. You will be responsible for administration and record keeping as well as assisting with paperwork and providing housing related support for new residents, including housing benefit and tenancy agreements, explaining the housing benefit process, and tenancy rules and regulations.


We are looking for staff who can work overnight and specific shift patterns will be discussed with you at the interview stage.
