Sewing Machinist

Hours
Monday - Friday 7.30am pm

The Role

• To follow detailed works orders / sales orders / customer instructions ensuring that each product is made correctly.
• Labelling of Tweedmill products to specification/sales order
• Sewing Tweedmill products using specifications/sales orders/ patterns
• Cleaning and low/general maintenance of machine
• Perform quality checks.
• Work closely with the Team Supervisors to ensure all orders are produced correctly, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Daily worksheets

Required Skills:

• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Able to multitask.
• Experience of working within a production site, would be an advantage but not essential.
• Work accurately and efficiently.
• 3 years plus experience
• Working with various fabrics
• Experience of using flatbed sewing machine
• Experience of using an industrial whipping machine would be an advantage
