You'll be member of our Children and Young People (CYP) hub team who welcome 45,000 CYP through school visits every year.
Carding Mill Valley is a significant National Trust site for CYP and one of the most popular sites for school visits to the outdoors in the country.
You will also be a member of the overall visitor team managing Carding Mill Valley's circa 250,000 visitors a year.
This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
Internally you'll be known as Programming Assistant.
What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Children and Young People Coordinator you'll work with them to manage the school visits and DofE expedition bookings along with CYP engagement activities.
The team based at the Chalet Pavilion also includes Countryside, Stepping Stones Project and Food & Beverage staff who all work very closely together in a close-knit team, to make this buzzing property a fantastic place to work.
Covering as much as 2,000 hectares of heather-covered hills with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Welsh hills, this is a working common and is an important place for wildlife, geology and archaeology.
You'll work outdoors in all weathers and be an active member of the Visitor team.
We all work together to ensure all visitors to Carding Mill Valley are welcomed with an exceptional level of service, so each visit is memorable.
The majority of the hours will be worked during school term time with a five days a week pattern from Feb half term to the middle of November.
There will be some hours worked during school holidays and bank holiday weekends.Who we're looking forWe'd love to hear from you, if you have:
