Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Specialist to join their expert team. This firm is renowned for its exceptional legal services and its innovative approach to technology and litigation support. Role Overview:

As an eDiscovery Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the eDiscovery process, from data collection and processing to review and production. You will work closely with legal teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure the accurate and timely handling of electronically stored information (ESI). The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in eDiscovery within a professional services environment, preferably within the legal, accounting, or audit sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the eDiscovery lifecycle, including data identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement eDiscovery strategies and protocols.
  • Coordinate with IT and external vendors to ensure effective data collection and processing.
  • Utilise eDiscovery tools and platforms (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, or similar) to manage and analyse data.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery.
  • Provide training and support to legal teams on eDiscovery best practices and tools.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of eDiscovery processes and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in eDiscovery technology and practices.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as an eDiscovery Specialist in a professional services environment (legal, accounting, audit, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery tools and platforms (e.g., Relativity, Nuix).
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery and data privacy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Desirable Skills:
  • Certification in eDiscovery (e.g., Certified E-Discovery Specialist - CEDS).
  • Experience with litigation support and case management.
  • Knowledge of forensic data collection techniques.
  • Understanding of information governance and data management principles.
