We are looking for a Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor.
Our client specializes in residential infrastructure projects for top developers in Southwestern England, covering Somerset, Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
We are in search of an individual residing in the region, with easy access around the M4 / M5 corridor. You will be handling existing and new projects in the region.
- Require someone with extensive experience in drainage, foundations, residential groundwork's, and ideally S278 experience.
- Projects generally valued between £1m and 10m.
Duties:
- Manage the Project/Site Manager, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Produce monthly reports, liaise with Senior QS (Quantity Surveyor) and Site QS.
- Ensure health, safety, environment & quality plans are in place.
- Build relationships with clients to secure work and enhance business reputation.
- Handle contracts from the estimator, plan, and monitor resource requirements.
- Promote integration, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Address leadership site issues.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Familiar with HSE legislation.
- Hold a valid CSCS card.
- Results-focused.
