Job Title: Creative Copywriter

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Main purpose of role:

This is a varied role where you will demonstrate your copywriting expertise across multiple channels ensuring your output aligns with wider marking objectives, brand identity and overall communications strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Writing tender responses ensuring the appropriate style and tone and with client requirements in mind.
  • Proofreading, editing and rewriting of content to ensure high quality standards, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Engaging with marketing and the wider business, monitoring campaigns and their effectiveness.
  • Driving brand consistency across all company communications.
  • Writing high-engaging social media content that reflects the brand of Salus.
  • Presenting creative briefs and finished projects to senior leadership.
  • Engaging with cross functional teams and contributing to multiple projects at once demonstrating a strong capability in project management.
  • Assisting in copywriting across a range of communication platforms including emails, social media, events, product collateral, presentation, press releases, SEO content etc.
  • There may be a requirement to work outside normal office hours on occasions to meet work deadlines.
  • We may reasonably amend your role responsibilities in line with business changes and needs.

Key requirements:

  • Highly experienced in content writing.
  • Creative flair with excellent writing ability, showcasing confidence to write in different styles that engage your audience.
  • Commercial mindset with enthusiasm for delivery of high-quality content that achieves results.
  • Self-motivated, with strong initiative and able to work productively remotely.
  • Strong collaborative / organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Good teamworking skills with the ability to collaborate and engage confidently and professionally.
  • High standards of attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable or ability to understand the use of popular digital marketing tools, including content management software, search engine optimization software, and website analytics software.
