An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist (Higher level) as part of a new service developing Trauma-informed Staff Support at Liverpool Women's Hospital (LWH).
The successful post holder will work as part of the LWH Staff Support Service, assisting the team in the delivery of interventions for LWH employees who experience psychological distress or symptoms of trauma due to work related events, pressures or stressors.
The service will be implementing the findings from the POPPY and INDIGO studies into work-related exposure to potentially traumatic events, particularly in midwives, obstetricians and gynaecologists, in addition to providing a staff support service for all LWH employees.
The role will involve providing clinical interventions under direction and supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and to assist in the clinically and organizationally related administration, audit work, data collection, and development of service-related audit and research work.
There will be opportunities to be involved in service development projects and, as this is a new service, there will be opportunities for innovation and creativity.
