Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Ipswich - UK Travel Required

Salary: Competitive + 5k DV Bonus

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance ( An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role. Why this job matters: This job is for an experienced senior QA engineer looking for their 1st management/lead role, with p roven and demonstrable leading testing activities, and evidence of knowledge of different software test methodologies, lifecycles, tools and techniques. What you'll do:
  • Technically lead the test and assurance of a complex delivery by providing technical insight and guidance of how to achieve a quality driven outcome - you will own the test plan, day to day test schedule and perform some hands-on assurance.
  • Share your knowledge of automated testing solutions and provide ongoing support to team members.
  • User your soft skills to work directly with customers to understand and capture requirements/user stories, through to integration, acceptance, and customer sign-off, ensuring delivered solutions align to customer expectations.
  • Potentially line managing 1 person.
  • Travel to UK based customer sites.
