Due to Promotion of the previous post holder we have a great opportunity to come and join our Pharmacy Team working with both the procurement and admin teams.
The post holder is required to provide an administrative service to the Pharmacy Team at Royal Stoke University Hospital, however you may be required to provide cover at County Hospital.
The post will involve a combination of staff enquiries, invoicing and a range of administrative duties intended to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the departmental systems.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care and professionalism and providing services in accordance with the Trusts declared values and behaviours.
This is an ideal post for someone with secretarial experience looking to work in a small, busy, friendly team.To answer the telephone in a friendly and efficient manner with referral to other pharmacy staff as appropriate.
Data entry on computer systems (e.g. ESR) and the updating of spreadsheets.
Diary Management and the arrangement of meetings, rearranging where necessary, including arranging a suitable venue or arrange via MS Teams.
Processing orders and invoices for medicines and devices within defined financial limits
Filing, scanning and processing procurement documentation for record keeping.
Type up minutes of Pharmacy meetings
Create new HR files.
