Are you a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer seeking a new and exciting opportunity? We are working with a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company looking to expand their team with a talented individual, who possesses a solid design engineering background with complex machinery.
If you have a Mechanical Engineering qualification and design experience with bespoke machinery, we want to hear from youMechanical Design Engineer Permanent 40 hours per week: Mon - Thurs Friday #removed# Salary dependent on experience Coventry Hybrid working after probation Mechanical Design engineer Job Specification Produce 2D CAD and 3D Inventor drawings, including system, general arrangement, sub-assembly, and detail part drawings as needed for special purpose machinery.
Apply design for manufacture principles to new and existing product lines. Create Pipe and Instrumentation Diagrams and Bill of Materials to support project execution.Maintain technical construction files and collaborate with Project Managers to resolve issues promptly.
Identify approved parts for equipment use and communicate complete Bill of Materials to the Purchasing Department to meet project requirements.
Deliver design information in a timely and sequential manner to meet production requirements.Develop and implement a skills and competency framework, along with individual training plans for the Draughting team.
Provide design support to Manufacturing, Sales, and R&D departments. Mechanical Design engineer Skills/Experience/Qualifications Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC/HND or BEng/MEng in Engineering.
Engineering background in a mechanical design office with special purpose machinery.
Experience in a general engineering plant & equipment, process, bulk or bespoke material handling industry. Mechanical Design engineer Company Benefits Pension scheme
