About the Pupil

ASEND are looking for a tutor to support a 15 year old autistic pupil in Enfield.

He is interested in talking about cars and gold He loves technology and he is very skilled at all things tech.

He would benefit from a tutor who can take him out.

The longterm plan is for him to sit his Functional Skill Exams and help him get ready for his functional skills exams.


This is a hugely interesting and rewarding opportunity to really make a difference to the life of this pupil and his ability to get used to following a daily school routine and be prepared for his exams.

What ASEND Tuition Is

We are looking for inspirational tutors to support young people with SEND. Many young people with SEND have been disengaged with their learning. We tutor pupils face to face in a range of settings including homes, schools, and community centres. You maybe an experienced tutor or teacher or have experience of working with children in a therapeutic way.

One of your aims will be to support a child at home and re-engage them in their learning and continue their educational development.

ASEND tuition normallyis part-time, taking place during school hours, five days a week.

  • Have some experience with SEN; many of our students require someone with experience in working with people who have autism, ADHD, or emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Be passionate about helping pupils overcome any barriers to learning and difficulties with engagement
  • Be able to build a rapport and strong relationship with children and their families and with colleagues
  • Ideally, have some experience of helping children with their learning.
