Job Title: Head of XR at AtkinsRéalis

Immersive technologies like Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) are offering new ways to enhance project data accessibility. The increasing adoption of these technologies is bringing real benefits to projects, such as de-risking delivery, virtual site visits, training facilitation, and digital activity rehearsals.

Your role:

  • Lead and oversee Extended Reality (XR) projects, including VR, AR, and MR applications, from inception to deployment.
  • Collaborate with teams across the Nuclear and Power EMEA business to drive the strategic vision for XR projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage an XR team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Handle the full XR project lifecycle, from development to post-launch support.
  • Set standards and procedures to document business needs and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical needs and implement XR solutions.
  • Stay updated on XR technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into projects.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project delivery.
  • Develop relationships with technology partners to enhance capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in XR development, with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering XR projects.
  • Strong technical skills in XR platforms, tools, and programming languages.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and problem-solving.
  • Adaptability to dynamic work environments and changing priorities.
