Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage inpatient & outpatient caseload independently under the lead Specialist Nurse Practitioner's supervision.
  • Conduct Nurse Led Outpatient clinic to review complex surgical wounds and post-operative patients.
  • Coordinate with medical and ward nursing staff to facilitate patient care and support the Multi-Professional Team.
  • Develop and maintain robust case management systems alongside administrative services.
  • Demonstrate specialized competence in Plastic Surgery and strong decision-making skills.
  • Work across multiple sites for 30 hours over 4 days, with flexibility required between Monday to Friday.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Registered nurse on relevant part of the NMC register
  • Degree qualification with significant post-registration experience in a relevant specialty
  • Completion of Band 5 (preceptorship) competencies
  • Extensive post-registration experience within a surgical specialty
  • Knowledge of current issues in acute health services
