We have a multidisciplinary workforce which consists primarily of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines whom are supported by GPs.

The main patient groups are patients with minor injury and minor illness.Patients who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians with an undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care.

Main duties of the job

Experience as an Emergency Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner or relevant specialist assessment practitioner skills Qualified to level 6 or above in minor injuries and or illness A passion for delivering high quality patient care Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills The ability to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care A commitment to continual personal and professional development

The positions are full-time or part-time. We are a 7 day per week, 365 days per year service and we are looking for Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings/weekends. Our shifts range from hours hours and as we understand the need for flexible working, we are also open to discussing hours that suit you.

Our remunerationstructure is as below:

Junior Urgent Care Practitioner - 47,025 per annum

A newly qualified Practitioner educated to level 6 or 7 in minor illness and injury.

Urgent Care Practitioner - 52,250 per annum

A fully qualified Practitioner with relevant experience, qualified and educated level 6 or 7 in minor injuries/minor illness.

Senior Urgent Care Practitioner - 57,475 per annum

A fully qualified Practitioner with relevant experience, qualified and educated predominantly atlevel7 in minor injuries/minor illness with the addition of a non-medical prescribing qualification and a Masters Degree or PG Dip in urgent care.

About us

*This bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within a Practice Plus Group secondary care location between 1stOctober 2022 and 28thFebruary 2023 in a role wholly or mainly dedicated to the hands on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the NMC or HCPC, and sonographers. The bonus is paid in two parts, 500 at the end of your first month of employment and 1500 after 6 months of employment conditional on successful completion of a probation period. The total bonus is pro-rata for part time joiners.
