Boston tea party began its soulful journey in the 90s as four quirky, independent cafes, then along came Sam Roberts, the CEO with a love for hospitality and a mission to prove that doing good is good for business.

This job is currently for a Saturday team member
- we do open up school holidays for extra shifts and they are always available if you want to pick more hours up.

There is always scope to move to full time and we definitely promote from within, so progression is a big option too

What you'll be doing


As a member of the team in your beautiful cafe, you are the master of all things that look after our customers, this could be the delivery of their food and drinks, supporting your kitchen or even saying hello and goodbye to all.

This role is a high energy one that delivers every part of our customer journey to ensure each one leaves happy.

You will always be anticipating your customers needs and building relationships built out of the community we serve.

Community is everything to your café, you may even support local organisations with such things as baby yoga, Hip Hop café or open mic events, firmly putting you and your café as a community hub.

Your team, well that's where it is at.

You will be part of a super skilled and motivated team of values led people that are there to support, train and coach you in your role.

You will be determined in your own development, focused on the next step in your career.


You support your café team but also your leadership team through great communication and feedback through asking great questions, and always have the team, customers and planet at the centre of all we do.
