The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is a key part of the Global Finance Team. Responsible for analysing past performance, forecasting the future, understanding the drivers of success and steering the business forward with insight, accuracy and value.

Your purpose:

To provide commercial financial insight and decision support to the Naked Wines management and Leadership Teams. Manage both internal and external stakeholders. Be proactive with initiatives and direction. Strive for continuous improvement and be a critical part of our growth ambition. Drive value through data, understanding and reporting.

Requirements

To nail your job you will:

  • Own and deliver consistent, accurate and timely reporting with insightful commentary
  • Drive consistency in local BU reporting through standard templates and models
  • Work alongside the FP&A Director to manage the Global Budget and Outlook processes, timetables and deliverables.
  • Understand, embed and articulate our key financial performance metrics as well as our customer north star metrics
  • Own the consolidated forecast models
  • Be a superuser and Finance expert for our BU forecast models
  • Be a key contributor in delivering our annual external plc reporting
  • Identify and recommend actions to optimise business results through financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
  • Work as part of the Global FP&A team to collaborate with other markets to establish best practice, identify challenges and opportunities, and share success
  • Be the link between the Global Finance and Data teams. Understanding the data architecture and driving consistency through reporting
  • Deputise for the FP&A Director and support with ad hoc projects as required

We'll love you because you:

  • Are a problem solver by nature, you are data-driven and detail-oriented
  • Have a nimble and balanced understanding of the big picture, in-depth analytics, and high operating rigour to comfortably navigate and influence management
  • Have experience creating complex models and scenario analysis to inform decision making
  • Can manage multiple projects at once
  • Have demonstrable experience of doing this before
  • Are comfortable with a fast paced, growth environment, but remain objective and data driven
  • Have excellent Excel and data management skills
  • Are able to work well as part of a team and as an individual – you will need to be able to find solutions and source data independently
  • Manage the demands of a Global business, e.g. time zones, jurisdictional differences

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant financial experience
  • Near qualified / qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Bachelor degree in a related discipline
  • Ideally experience working in fast moving commercial organisation
  • Experience with Looker or Sage nice to have
