Job Details:
We are seeking to appoint a Higher Scientific Officer within the Centre for Protein Degradation to deliver biology aspects of the Centre's projects.
The post holder will use state of the art chemical biology techniques and cellular screening to explore the mechanism of action of small molecule degraders, and will work with others to develop novel reagents, cellular assays, and proteomic methods.
The Centre for Protein Degradation is a multidisciplinary team, and this position will involve collaborative working with colleagues in chemistry, structural biology, DMPK and computational chemistry to develop biochemical and cell-based assays for testing and validating protein degraders and novel anticancer targets for TPD drug discovery programs.
