About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Team Leader to join The Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery (CCDD) as the Head of Biology and Director of the Centre for Target Validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of researchers in the discovery and development of novel cancer therapies
  • Develop and implement innovative drug discovery strategies and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cancer therapies from laboratory to clinical trials
  • Provide scientific leadership and expertise to support the development of personalized medicines
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field of cancer biology or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in drug discovery and development, with a strong track record of publication and commercial success
  • Proven leadership experience in a research or industry setting, with a strong ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
