Support Worker Required to work 2 overnights per week. £11.20 per hr.

This is a contracted post with six months probationary period. You will be required to undergo a PVG Disclosure before starting employment. Wages are paid 4 weekly, not monthly. PPE will be required to be worn where appropriate.


It is important to recognize that as the care you are employed to assist with will be provided within the lady's home, confidentiality and respect for her privacy is of the utmost importance.

Applicants should be open minded, non-judgemental and able to respect individuality.


The lady requires overnight support in her home as she struggles with her breathing and requires help during the night.

The client uses a nebulizer and close monitoring is required, risk assessment and safety of this equipment is essential.

Light moving and assisting will be required in this role and there are aids in the home to support with that.

Training can be given if required. Rest and break times to be discussed, the employer is flexible.

The lady wants to live as comfortably as she can in her own home. Support and comfort from a personal assistant will assure her a restful sleep.

Support in getting to the bathroom during the night and monitoring of skin care will be required, occasional changing of bedding may be part of your role.

The client may occasionally need help with making light breakfast/supper or a cuppa in the morning.


Support with personal care and making the client comfortable and safe in her home environment will be the best part of the shift.

In order to prevent from any skin conditions, turning and moving will be essential. Someone with good local knowledge and a cheery disposition would suit this role.
