Our client is looking for an individual to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles used by children with special educational needs and disabilities.
You need to have a keen eye for detail and experience in vehicle compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of minibuses used to transport children with SEND
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards as per relevant regulations
- Identify and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule necessary repairs and upkeep
- Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance vehicle safety and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest compliance requirements and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a compliance role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of children with special educational needs and disabilities
- Experience as a vehicle inspector, preferably with a focus on minibuses or similar vehicles (Desired)
- Knowledge of vehicle compliance standards and regulations (Desired)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle inspection and compliance are highly desirable
