The Role

As a Delivery Programme Manager, you will lead on successful programme delivery of the company's programmes across AI, Analytics and Engineering on Google Cloud for our large scale Enterprise customers across industries from FSI, Telco and Media. This position will suit a candidate that has experience delivering projects and programmes in the style of Waterfall, Agile and Wagile. The candidate needs to have delivered projects across the full delivery lifecyle and have a passion for managing large, complex engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Govern and manage large scale programmes
  • Manage project execution and delivery, scope, resourcing & staffing, reports and communication, issues and resolutions, project financials, and customer satisfaction - to ensure joint success for the customer and Datatonic.
  • Govern complex stakeholder relationships across Customer, Datatonic and our partners e.g. Google
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across all projects by maintaining best-in-class programme management, Stakeholder management and delivery standards.
  • Identify, apply and improve appropriate Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scrumban etc.) and techniques, being mindful of clients' culture and operating environment.
  • Assess project and programme performance and aim to maximize ROI by offering outstanding business value to our clients.
  • Identify obstacles and bring innovative ways to help the team to overcome them.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders across all aspects of project delivery, managing clients' expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system.
  • Identify and deliver metrics for project success and identify ways to innovate and improve delivery
  • Be an excellent facilitator by empowering the teams and paving the way for project success.

Requirements

  • Enterprise Programme management experience some of which within a management consultancy, SaaS provider or tech start-up.
  • Commercial acumen to grow existing accounts with the commercial and delivery teams
  • Financial management experience to ensure projects/programmes are kept within budget, revenue is tracked and gross margins are maintained
  • Managing programmes across all workstreams from design, build and customer testing
  • Experience of delivering Agile and hybrid ways of working.
  • Previous experience with at least one of data and/or analytics projects and/or public cloud.
  • Proven senior stakeholder management experience (client-side and internal).
  • A natural communicator with an engaging and considerate approach.
  • A supportive, committed, and empathetic attitude in the performance of daily duties.
  • Desire to join a diverse, multinational team of ML & AI enthusiasts.
  • Passion for innovative technological solutions.
  • Agile Project Management, Prince2 or Scrum certification.

Bonus points (but not essential):

  • Prior experience in start-up / scale-up.
  • Multi-lingual (especially but not limited to German, French, Portuguese and Spanish).
