What to expect

As a Programme Manager you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role you will be accountable for the Cyber Security Maturity Programme deliverables and key responsibilities include lead and manage multiple Lead and manage multiple workstreams within large, complex technology programmes. Develop and maintain programme plans, schedules, and budgets and work closely with senior stakeholders to define programme objectives, scope, and deliverables. Ensure alignment of programme goals with business objectives and strategic priorities and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technology solutions. Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues and manage programme resources, including internal teams and external vendors. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among programme team members and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance programme delivery and efficiency. Programme Plan management on activity level, including dates and update on progress from team. Responsible for risks and issues management and status reports and dependency management and cross programme meetings ensuring business readiness for each release.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience and skills required:

Experience: Proven experience as a Programme Manager, with a focus on technology projects, with Cyber experience preferred.
Education: bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior executives.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Financial Acumen: Experience in managing programme budgets, financial tracking, and reporting.
Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks effectively.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Experience Cyber Security or previous running of Cyber Security programmes
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the technology sector.
