As a Night Porter, you'll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you'll be doing to support your Head of Department and keep things running like clockwork.

Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role Whilst working as part of a vibrant team, you'll be maximising guest satisfaction by delivering excellent guest care at all times.

As well as interacting with guests at welcome and departure, you'll also be shaping their experience by getting involved in the Kitchen to prepare room service orders.


If you're our ideal Night Porter, you will:

  • Be yourself
- (Along with your other colleagues in the Night team), take responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and our guests

  • Carry out regular Fire Walks each night
  • Setting up of Function/Meeting Rooms
  • Cleaning Duties
  • Be detailoriented: you'll be setting out ambient breakfast items in the morning, and it needs to look great

About Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Murrayfield:

This sleek, modern hotel is a 1-minute walk from Hillwood Park and 1.4 miles from Edinburgh Zoo.

Contemporary rooms (twins through triples) come with free Wi-Fi and work desks, as well as TVs, tea and coffeemaking equipment, and city views.

Upgraded rooms and family rooms add more space and bunk beds.
The on-site restaurants serves a continental or full Scottish breakfast, and dinner. There's also an all-day bar with a food menu. Other amenities include a health club with a pool and a fitness suite, as well as free parking.
