The Role


The position is suitable for individuals with experience working in a chemistry laboratory, who is looking to move away from a bench-based environment.

As a Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Building and delivering reports on oil analysis to clients,
  • Offering technical support to clients, based on their needs and the results of the report on their product,
  • Problem solving with the wider oils team to offer client support,
  • Providing technical support to the laboratory and R&D team.

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Experience working in an analytical chemistry lab environment, with good knowledge of quality and health and safety procedures (preferably undertaking oil analysis but this is not essential),
  • Good ability to problem solve and come to an informed decision, both individually and as part of a team,
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, suitable for any level of scientific understanding,
  • Strong organisational skills.

The Package
