Position:
Entry-Level Yard Operative

Location:
Haven Timber, Norton St Philip, BA2 7NG.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience or specific knowledge necessary
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle for commuting
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn are crucial

Schedule & Salary:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 17:00
  • Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 13:00
(averaging 45 hours weekly)

Salary negotiable

Main Responsibilities:
(with comprehensive on-the-job training, including forklift certification)

  • Train to expertly load and unload vehicles using a forklift
  • Accurately fulfil customer orders with efficiency
  • Maintain a tidy and secure yard environment
  • Engage in inventory control and precise recordkeeping
  • Deliver stellar customer service, assisting and advising as needed

  • Physically capable for manual tasks, including lifting and handballing
  • A dependable team player
  • Strong communication skills with a customerfocused approach
  • Meticulous attention to detail
