We are now recruiting for a Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning team. You will be responsible for the Demand Planning process, owning and driving availability, problem solving, and the proactive management of customer forecasts. Through regular and quality collaborative communication, you will ensure first class availability and bias with full ownership and development of the 24-month demand planning horizon.

This is a hybrid role working at our Bristol office two or three days per week. It is a fixed-term, full-time contract with a start date of mid-May 2024 through to the end of March 2025.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive & Develop the Demand Review process with relevant stakeholders, owning the monthly collaborative forecasting process with the sales and commercial finance functions.
  • Take ownership for ensuring the Anaplan planning system is accurate, including the monthly updating of the statistical forecasting.
  • Full Accountability of the Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias measure on a Monthly basis.
  • Optimise end to end efficiencies & minimise packaging write offs for exclusive lines.
  • Work cross functionally, both internally & externally, ensuring first class execution.
  • Ensure 98.5% Service Level at all times into customer.
  • Support the development of Joint Business Plans.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement, implementing new ways of working to smooth the IBP process, eradicating duplication & non-value add work.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse promotions liaising with Demand Control if we can support any over performance during the tactical horizon (0-3 months) and using analysis to better accurately predict future promotions on a strategic horizon (3-24 month).
  • Manage any constrained lines and collaboratively agree with the customer & commercial to minimise overall impact.
  • Evaluation of customer EPOS, stock and availability data on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and stability of demand plan.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience within planning, ideally in FMCG environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills, demonstrating openness and honesty with a customer first approach.
  • Strong Experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Customer Collaboration
  • Highly self-motivated with a passion to develop.
  • Experience of using advanced planning systems, preferably Anaplan (but not essential).
