AECOM are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Bristol office, based in the city centre.
This opportunity has arisen in our Building & Places Business Unit due to the continued growth and project opportunities working across the UK and overseas.
This is a great opportunity to play a significant part on future construction projects across the UK, and across worldwide locations.
The Mechanical Engineer responsibilities include:
Gathering and correlating basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Working on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Providing guidance to entry level engineers.
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business, on projects in a variety of sectors
Design of mechanical systems including ventilation, heating, cooling, domestic water and drainage
Demonstrated use of digital tools for design and calculation, including Revit
A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
Awareness of thermal modelling software (preferably IES), for achieving Part L compliance, overheating assessments and thermal load calculations
