Tell me more about the Role.?


As Content Writer, reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for writing great customer facing copy - blogs, newsletters, social posts, articles, web pages, case studies and more.

To do this, you'll work closely with teams across the business, including product and sales teams; you'll craft content for each medium, from short and attention grabbing social posts, to longer form well-researched blog posts, adapting your writing style for your target audience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Head of Marketing on the marketing plan
  • Optimise content for SEO using best practices and by researching keywords, hashtags, and trending topics.
  • Tailor content and style of individual writing assignments to persuade or inform the audience based on their customer journey, persona, and industry.
  • Select appropriate imagery and research product information to develop consistent branding
  • Create and update online content via CMS (content management system) and social platforms
  • Ensure compliancy with corporate identity and tone of voice.
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to determine requirements. Present copy concepts, final deliverables with deadlines to the marketing team.
  • Modify and amend copy from feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with the designers to ensure the design fits the copy requirements.
  • Ensure all content is relevant, engaging and pushes boundaries

What do I need to Bring.?


You'll firstly have a passion for writing engaging copy in all forms, be comfortable conducting research to understand complex topics, often summarising these into easy to read posts and able to work quickly and to deadlines, often juggling multiple requirements at the same time.

With a commercial mindset, writing with SEO in mind, your content will also be a marketing tool to enable to the sales team to engage and close more leads.

A background in content writing, editing, and proofreading is required with experience in content relating to technology products.

Using your writing and editing skills with accurate attention to detail, utilising reporting tools such as Google Analytics, you will be able to build a rapport and positive working relationships with internal stakeholders showing them how great content can help with their business goals.
